Shewannaexplore.com is born from 3 years of thought and reflection—3 years during which I gathered enough content and experience to finally feel legitimate enough to start a blog and share it with the world (yes, imposter syndrome …)
I had to live in 4 different countries, meet inspiring people, and learn from my own mistakes before I could even begin to think about what comes next. What’s next after an exchange year in Lithuania and an internship in Italy? What’s next after a year of working and living in New Zealand? And what’s next after a 6-month backpacking adventure across Oceania and Asia?
When I returned to France, I had only one thing in mind: to travel more, meet more people, push my limits, and, ultimately, explore more.
Throughout those 3 years, I often shared my experiences on my private social networks, and I received few messages from friends saying that I had inspired them to visit new places, travel more often, and most importantly, start traveling solo. Someone even told me “you should open a blog” ! Well …
That’s why I decided to create this blog—not only as a travel diary but, above all, as a source of inspiration. I want this blog to encourage those who dream of exploring, those who are planning or still hesitating about planning their first solo travel, those thinking of running their first half-marathon, hiking around the Mont Blanc, or simply following their passions and experiencing everything the world has to offer.
After 3 years, I’ve come to realize that I want to explore every opportunity life presents to me. And creating this blog is just another step in that journey. Here, you’ll find travel inspiration and tips, personal stories, and so much more.
I can’t wait for the adventure to begin!
